Early Feeding – Challenges and Opportunities
Dr. Jean de Oliveira has a degree in Animal Science from Sao Paulo State University (UNESP, Brazil), a masters in Monogastric Animal Nutrition from the Federal University of Vicosa (UFV, Brazil) and a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Biotechnology from North Carolina State University (NCSU, USA).He has been working for the last 10 years in the industry as a research scientist, being the first 3 years at Provimi as a Global Poultry Researcher and for the last 7 years at Cargill R&D Centre Europe in Belgium where he supports research in food co-products valorization into feed ingredients for all animal species and capability development for the Cargill Animal Nutrition business. Some of his areas of expertise include in vitro, in ovo and in vivo bioassays, applied animal microbiome analysis and new
feed ingredients evaluation.
